RAIDERS pulled off a daring £26million bank heist by drilling through an 18in reinforced concrete wall into the vault.
The burglary - likely Germany's most lucrative - was only discovered when a fire alarm went off inside the Sparkasse bank branch in Gelsenkirchen.
Police believe the gang tunnelled into the vault from an archive room next door using a three-stone diamond-tipped drill. Once they got in last weekend, they took their time emptying its 3,300 safe deposit boxes.
