13 puppies so lucky for Guide Dogs

GUIDE Dogs is celebrating its biggest litter for years after one of its pooches gave birth to an incredible 13 pups.

The charity, which helps people who have sight loss, usually welcomes seven or eight puppies in an average litter.

But four-year-old Yori a golden retriever-Labrador cross gave everyone a surprise when she produced a perfect baker's dozen.

The births, which took place at Yori's home in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, came two months after she met the pups' dad Otis, a yellow Labrador guide dog.
