The event, held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, was coordinated by Veda Brown of Black Gospel Promo and the Community Engagement Coordinator for the Salvation Army Kroc Center, which hosted the event at 4200 Wissahickon Avenue.

The program's goal was to honor distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to the city and beyond. This year’s honorees included current Mayor Cherelle L.
