Scribe Video Center proudly announces the North Philadelphia History Festival, a vibrant, multi-site celebration of the African American and Puerto Rican cultural legacy of North Philadelphia.

Taking place July 24 through 27, 2025, this four-day festival will transform historic sites, community centers, and public spaces with a series of free events.
Under the banner “Arts. Culture. Music. History.,” the festival will feature exhibitions, installations, performances, screenings, and conversations created by artists, historians, cultural workers, and neighborhood organizations committed to honoring the spirit and resilience of North Philadelphia.

Festival programming features an impressive lineup of installations, performances, and conversations led by acclaimed artists and cultural workers.
