THIS August, the fashion world turns its focus to Moscow, where the BRICS+ Fashion Summit promises to be a game-changer for global style and innovation.
Set against the backdrop of an evolving global fashion narrative, South Africa is poised to make a powerful statement at this influential gathering, taking place from August 28 to 30.
Representing the nation at the Summit is an inspiring delegation, featuring three stalwarts of the South African fashion scene: Stephen Manzini, the visionary behind Soweto Fashion Week and the South African Fashion Association; Vusi Ngobeni, a forward-thinking design strategist from the National Department of Sport, Arts and Culture; and Tinyiko Baloyi, an academic leader at the University of Johannesburg dedicated to nurturing the next generation of fashion innovators.
