Durban City host fellow newcomers Magesi at Chatsworth Stadium today at 3pm, while Richards Bay travel to Lucas Moripe Stadium for an 8pm kickoff against defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.

For City, their clash with Magesi represents a golden chance to strengthen their foothold in the Premiership.

Gavin Hunt's men have shown resilience in their debut campaign, competing well against more established sides and collecting valuable points on the road.

But the veteran coach has stressed that home fixtures will ultimately determine their survival.
