India's defence sector is poised for a significant transformation by 2047, with the total defence budget projected to rise to Rs 31.7 lakh crore— nearly five times the Rs 6.8 lakh crore allocated in 202425, according to a joint report by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and KPMG.
