A WOMAN will be celebrating her 100th birthday next month.

Ivy Lloyd, who is a resident of The Laurels Nursing Home in Bacup, will be celebrating her milestone birthday on September 8.
She will be celebrating her special day with a visit from the Mayor of Rossendale, Michelle Smith.
Singer Ian Jenkins will be performing and guests will be treated to a buffet tea with a birthday cake.
