LITTLEBOROUGH brushed aside Clitheroe on Thursday as they cruised into T20 finals day on Saturday 26th July which they will host at Hare Hill.
The bad news for the other three finalists on the day is I reckon they left 30/40 runs on the field with the bat and still won by 47 runs.
The fielding was outstanding with the home side not carrying a single player and this stood out with the visitors guilty of several misfields.
Clitheroe won the toss and quite surprisingly decided to bat on a bright sunny day with an excellent batting track to boot.
Littleborough got off to flier with Zac Perren scoring all 19 runs off the first nine balls of the innings.
However, he maybe got a little excited and tried to launch the next one and was well caught by visiting pro Madhav Kaushik just behind square, 19/1.
Out marched Bryce Parsons and he was in imperious form as he smashed the ball to all parts.
At the power play after six overs the score had raced to 65-1 with Parsons on 32 and Matt Hernon on 9.
