Continuous release of water from Pong Dam in recent days has caused flooding in different parts of Punjab.

Speaking to journalists, Jathedar Bira Singh Ji informed that in districts Tarn Taran and Kapurthala, special relief operations are being carried out under the leadership of Sant Baba Sukha Singh Ji and Sant Baba Hakim Singh Ji, heads of Sampardai Kar Sewa Sant Baba Tara Singh Ji Sarhali Sahib. At two locations in village Sabhra, strengthening of the embankment is ongoing due to the sustained efforts of the Sampardai.
