Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal Dedicates Revamped Diyalpura Rajbaha to Public

Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is working tirelessly for the state's development. In line with this, development works in the Lehra constituency are being carried out round the clock, transforming the area's landscape. These views were expressed by Cabinet Minister Barinder Kumar Goyal while dedicating the revamped Diyalpura Rajbaha, constructed at a cost of approximately 4 crore rupees, to the public in Lehra. Sharing details about the project, Cabinet Minister Goyal stated that the Diyalpura Rajbaha originates from the Ghaggar Branch. It has been constructed with a discharge capacity of 32.45 cusecs, including a 10% increase. This rajbaha will benefit a total of 7,881 acres of land and completely resolve the drinking water supply issues in Lehra city, as the earlier rajbaha faced water supply interruptions.

The total length of the rajbaha is 41,947 feet. From milestone 0 to 37,600, it is an open channel, and from milestone 37,600 to 41,947, it is an underground pipeline. The rajbaha falls under Block Dirhba from milestone 0 to 20,000 and Block Lehra from milestone 20,000 to 41,947.
