Govt. of India's initiative Aspirational Blocks Programme leads to development under 5 themes: Health and Nutrition, Education, Agriculture and allied services, social development and Basic Infrastructure.
Expressing these views, MLA S. Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said it is a matter of great pride that under the ABP, Harsha Chhina has got prize money of Rs. 3 crore and Rs. 1.5 crore in two delta rankings by being at Rank 1 overall India in Dec 2023 and Rank 2 in Zone 2 in Dec 2024.Ajnala stood at 3rd rank in Zone 2 in June 2025 ranking.He added that this achievement is the result of the hard work of all officials and employees, as both Ajnala and Harsha Chhina Blocks have achieved saturation in one indicator each under the Sampoornata Abh
