THE shocking front page story, “Girl (9) was kept home from school and allegedly raped by stepfather”, the POST, August 12-17, refers.
It is one of the most heart-wrenching experiences imaginable for a family. Once again, as a community, we must hang our heads in shame, forced to confront the darkest shadows of humanity.
How such atrocities continue in this day and age is beyond comprehension.
We can no longer afford to live in denial.
