PROFESSOR Kiren Thathiah launched his second book Sezela: A Season in the Sun at the Umhlanga Apart Hotel on Sunday.

Professor Kiren Thathiah launches second book: 'Sezela: A Season in the Sun'

Thathiah was born in Durban and, after a few years in eMkhomazi (Umkomaas), his father was promoted to the primary school in Sezela in the 1970s.

He completed high school at Umzinto Indian High School before enrolling at the University of Durban-Westville (UDW) for a degree in fine art.
