Casino predator faces multiple charges

HANNAH Naidoo, a 74-year-old widow, is facing new charges of attempted murder and theft after allegedly drugging and robbing vulnerable victims she had befriended at Suncoast Casino. She was was arrested two weeks ago
Naidoo, a mother of four from Westville, appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday.
She was initially charged with attempted murder and theft after she allegedly laced a 66-year-old woman’s tea and robbed her of R20 000 at Suncoast Casino, in May.
State prosecutor, Calvin Govender, told the court that two counts of attempted murder and two of theft were being added to the State’s case after two other women came forward and claimed they, too, had been robbed by Naidoo.
