KAJOL shines in Maa, a riveting mythological horror that explores the depths of maternal love and fury.
The movie tells the story of Ambika, who will stop at nothing to protect her daughter, Shweta, from a demonic curse that has been terrorising the village of Chandarpur.
The film begins with a chilling ritual in Chandarpur, where a woman gives birth to twins, and the female child is brutally sacrificed to the monstrous deity, Amsaja.
Forty years later, Ambika and her husband, Shuvankar (Indraneil Sengupta), return to Chandarpur after his father's passing, unaware of the dark secrets that await them.
