Region's churches hosting drama productions on a Christmas theme

Churches across the Portsmouth region are preparing to host a series of ambitious drama productions this month, aimed at bringing the traditional Christmas story to life for the local community.
The Harbour Church Christmas spectacular at St Alban's Church, Connor.
While many congregations will stage traditional Nativity plays during their upcoming Sunday services, several churches are going further by hosting large-scale "Live Nativity" events. These productions often feature adult casts and live stable animals, offering children a hands-on experience of the Bethlehem story.
St Nicholas, Bedhampton: Set to host a Live Nativity on Saturday, December 20 (3pm-5pm), where visitors can meet the animals and experience the stable scene firsthand.
St Mary's, Rowner: Will host a "Scratch Nativity" on December 23 (2.45pm-5pm), inviting the community to jump straight into the action.
