New mayor takes up civic role in father's footsteps

The new Mayor of Fareham has officially taken office - and is following in her father's footsteps.

Cllr Tina Ellis became the Mayor of Fareham at a ceremony on Thursday. Her husband Cllr Robert Ellis will be Mayor's Consort.
The new mayor said: "I am extremely honoured to become the new Mayor of Fareham.
