PWCS hosts holiday programme

The Polokwane Child and Family Care Society (PCWS) hosted its annual July school holiday programme from July 8-11, offering local children the chance to participate in life skills activities and games designed to teach emotional intelligence and build a positive self-image.

Social worker Susana Jardim said the programme helps children learn how to manage emotions, build healthy friendships and resolve conflict. “The focus this year was on the importance of positive friendships, conflict resolution, and learning to handle difficult emotions, which often show up as physical symptoms in the body,” she said.
