Rotary Pietersburg 100 welcomes new president

Retired professor of geology, John Dunlevey was inducted as 2025/26 president of the Rotary Pietersburg 100 Club of South Africa (District 9400), at a gala luncheon held at Bolivia Estate last Saturday evening.

Rotarian Sampie Lyle welcomed all to the event and Rotarian Jaco Oliemans said grace before prof Martin Potgieter presented the Rotary Four-way Test and Objects of Rotary.

Rotarian Trevor Fowls presented to Toast to South Africa and Rotarian Bruno Tschudin the Toast to Rotary International.

Sue Kirkpatrick, the outgoing Rotary Anns' president reported on the past year and awarded the Rotary Anns' award to Sylvia Dunlevey before introducing the new Rotary Ann's president, Lara Kirkpatrick.

Outgoing president Sarel Martin then reviewed the highlights of the year.
