It's a record Easter on Limpopo roads
Polokwane Observer
|April 24, 2025
Traffic volumes on the N1 into Limpopo reached record highs this Easter, marking the busiest period on the road in five years.
The increase is largely attributed to the return of large-scale Zion Christian Church pilgrimages following the first gathering post the Covid-19 era.
Transport Minister Barbara Creecy, speaking during the Easter Road Safety Activation at Kranskop on Tuesday, highlighted the milestone.
