Heartfelt tributes were paid at Perth Crematorium this week to well-known Perth man Iain 'Snooks' MacLagan.
The 75-year-old, who was an accomplished musician and played drums with several local bands, died peacefully in Catmoor House Care Home, Scone, on Monday, May 26.
In a moving eulogy, local celebrant Lynne Mitchell described him as "a unique character, a lovely and much-loved man who brought happiness, laughter, friendship and fun to those who were lucky enough to know him."
She added: "His generosity and commitment to a cause brought happiness to so many more. We leave here better for knowing him, carrying his memory forever in our hearts and his example forever in our minds.
"His legacy lives on in the music he has left behind, in the differences he has made on this earth - and in the hearts of all those who have loved him."
"Across his life, Snooks played so many different roles, whether amongst his family, whom he loved deeply, or in his work life, where colleagues became friends, in his music career and fund-raising or in his passion for football. He lived his live to the full.
He was a loving son, brother to Neil and uncle to Scott and Kelly, a devoted partner to Lilian, a significant figure in the lives of Mark, Kevin and Karin, and in the family's younger generation too: his grandchildren Claudia, Ava, Cameron and Connor.
Iain Charles MacLagan was born in Perth Royal Infirmary on April 11, 1950. The eldest son of Catherine and John MacLagan, he was to be a big brother to Neil and both boys grew up in Glenartney Terrace in Perth.
