Fitness fundraiser set up in memory of popular football coach Rory

A fundraiser in memory of late Blairgowrie football coach Rory Hindmarch has been organised by his niece.

Gracie Donaldson’s Go Fund Me page has so far raised more than £3000.

Warm tributes were paid to father-of-three Rory on social media following his passing on April 20.

He had coached the Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Football Club 2016 team.

Gracie Donaldson’s fundraising page states: “As some of you may know, my Uncle Rory sadly passed away on Sunday, April 20.

“To honour his life, I'll be taking on the CrossFit Hero WOD “Chad” — 1000 box step-ups for time on a 20 inch box, while wearing a 35lb weighted backpack.

“This workout is inspired by Navy SEAL Chad Wilkinson, who tragically lost his life to suicide in 2018.
