Councillor highlights graffiti attack on Ericht site
Mindless vandals have been slammed for spraying graffiti on signage at a famed Perthshire beauty spot.
The graffiti appeared on an interpretive sign at Cargill's Leap by the banks of the River Ericht near Blairgowrie.
The location is where Covenanter and Presbyterian minister Donald Cargill is said to have escaped Government troops by jumping across the river in 1679 at a point in the gorge known as 'The Keith'.
It is also a popular spot for nature lovers to spot Tay salmon jumping from the river.
