Chamber heads to Lille to boost Perthshire as tourism destination

Perthshire Chamber of Commerce has successfully led a high-impact trade mission to Lille, France, designed to open up new export pathways, strengthen international cooperation, and promote Perthshire and Scotland as premium destinations for business and tourism.

Supported by the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and the Scottish Government, the two-day programme brought together senior stakeholders from both countries, advancing shared goals set out in the Scottish Government's Export Growth Plan and the Scottish Chambers' International Trade Programme — to increase Scotland’s global trade presence and provide real-world pathways into international markets for Scottish businesses.

The mission began with a strategic meeting at Hello Lille, the city’s investment promotion agency, where the Perthshire delegation explored opportunities around agri-food, tech and service exports and cross-border supply chain development along with hospitality and tourism opportunities.
