The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of South Africa hosted a media engagement workshop in Newlands on Thursday 19 March to outline plans aimed at reducing voting queues and strengthening election readiness across the Western Cape ahead of the local government elections later this year.

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) of South Africa hosted a media engagement workshop at the Southern Sun Hotel in Newlands on Thursday 19 March to outline plans aimed at reducing voting queues and strengthening election readiness across the Western Cape ahead of the Local Government Elections later this year.

The session brought together election officials and journalists to improve collaboration and strengthen public communication around electoral processes.
