Efforts to tackle violence against women and girls in Renfrewshire have been recognised as part of a nationwide awards programme.
Renfrewshire Council's Youth Services team is up for Community Group of the Year in the Scottish Women’s Awards 2025.
The category recognises groups making a meaningful impact in their communities through support, empowerment, and advocacy.
The team has been highlighted for its efforts to shape a more positive culture for women and girls in the area through a proactive programme of campaigns and activities.
This includes Young and Equally Safe, a long-running initiative focused on tackling gender-based violence and promoting equality.
