Goal hero Mandron enjoying a career high
Mikael Mandron insists he has enjoyed the best week in his football career.
The big striker capped seven days to remember with a second-half winner as St Mirren followed up their League Cup spectacular over Celtic with victory at home to struggling Livingston.
Mandron climbed off the bench to tame the Lions and hit double figures for the season on Saturday.
And he savoured the moment as Stephen Robinson's Buddies followed up silverware by making it back-to-back wins in the Premiership.
"It has to be," the 31-year-old replied when asked if this was as good as it's ever been.
"I'd never won a trophy. Some people go through their whole career without winning a trophy.
"So, to do it at St Mirren means so much more to the fans and the club.
