Thorn impress with comeback to take point
Paisley Daily Express
|September 12, 2025
Thorn Athletic shared the spoils in a six-goal thriller as their impressive start to life in the West of Scotland League Second Division continued last Saturday with a stunning comeback.
The Johnstone side sit in fourth place in the table with just one defeat from eight games following a 3-3 draw at home to Lesmahagow.
However, it was a point that felt like a victory given Thorn were 3-0 down at the break and played much of the second half with 10 men.
Nathan McLelland launched the recovery effort before Caiden Adams had a corner forced into the net from close range.
