The Labour party is back on track

-
Last week's election result in the Holyrood seat of Hamilton, Larkhall and Stonehouse has given all Labour politicians and activists a real boost.
Many of us have struggled with some of the recent decisions made in London and our constituents have made their views known to us.
However, with the election result and the announcement earlier this week of many pensioners getting their fuel allowance back, it has made us believe that Labour is back on track and given us hope as we start to campaign for next year's Holyrood election.
Next year, the SNP will have been in power for 19 years and if one thing shows me that they have taken their eye off the ball, it is John Swinney's claim that last week's by-election was a straight fight between the SNP and Reform.
That was a bizarre claim and, after the result was announced, his claim was made to look even more ridiculous.
Given this SNP government's poor track record in power, it's clear change is needed.
