Skipper's Hampden dream about to come true
Paisley Daily Express
|November 01, 2025
Mark O'Hara is looking forward to making his Hampden debut tonight-after doubting if his dream would ever be realised.
The St Mirren skipper has been agonisingly close to reaching the national stadium on several occasions in both the Scottish Cup and League Cup before falling at the quarterfinal stage.
But when Malik Dijksteel netted the penalty decider at Rugby Park to beat Kilmarnock 5-3 on penalties, following a 2-2 draw, O'Hara felt a huge sense of relief.
Now it's all systems go as he prepares to lead out his Buddies in their Premier Sports Cup semifinal with Motherwell.
