Show support in Suicide Prevention Week
Paisley Daily Express
|September 10, 2025
People across Renfrewshire are being urged to challenge the stigma around poor mental health and start difficult conversations as part of Suicide Prevention Week.
-
Running until Sunday, the week-long campaign seeks to inform and engage health professionals and the general public about suicide prevention and warning signs of suicide.
A series of events are being held by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde under the 2025 theme of "Changing the Narrative on Suicide," to reshape public understanding and help save lives.
It will see an awareness event held in Barrhead Foundry today where people can learn more about how they can support their own mental health and others. The stall will be open between 2pm and 4pm.
