Scotland shines on world stage

I'm sure, like me, almost everyone is delighted with Scotland's return to the big time.
Wonder goal Scott McTominay produced an iconic World Cup qualifying moment for Scotland against Denmark at Hampden last week
Yes, a return to the World Cup after a slightly long break of some 28 years.
I was lucky enough to be at the Denmark game with Stacey to witness the effort and some of the best goals that we have ever seen.
Right from the start, it seemed that we were witnessing something special after the overhead kick wonder goal from Scott McTominay.
The whole game didn't go exactly as planned but I think the amazing goals scored in that one qualifying match will reverberate around the world, or at least to those interested in football.
What a way to qualify.
And, of course, I cannot let the connection to our own great town go unmentioned.
Well, I can't break the habit of a lifetime. St Mirren's connection to that game is undeniable.
