Malik keeps his cool from 12 yards to seal semi-final place
Malik Dijksteel and Shamal George were the spot-kick stars once again as St Mirren booked their place at Hampden last night in dramatic fashion.
On a pulsating night at Rugby Park, the Buddies edged out Kilmarnock to reach the semifinals of the Premier Sports Cup.
George saved from Kyle Magennis to set up Dijksteel for the winning moment.
And it was a repeat performance from the pair who were heroes in the shootout victory over Hearts in the round of 16.
Saints had led twice in normal time through Mikael Mandron and Jayden Richardson but were pegged back by Robbie Deas and Bruce Anderson's penalty.
But nothing would stop Saints marching on Hampden as fans flooded the pitch in celebration.
Saints made one change to the side which beat Falkirk 2-1 to secure a first Premiership win of the season with Richard King replacing Marcus Fraser.
