Rolls-Royce boss joins institute board

A Rolls-Royce chief has been appointed to the board of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS).
-
Neil Mantle, group director of manufacturing engineering and materials at Rolls-Royce, has decades of global experience across aerospace, defence, and power systems.
His appointment will, the NMIS says, will bring valuable insight to support its mission of driving innovation, skills, and supply chain growth in Scottish manufacturing.
Neil is the former chair of the advisory board for the University of Strathclyde's Advanced Forming Research Centre (AFRC)- the NMIS founding centre, and leads Rolls-Royce's strategic partnership with the University.
