"The accused stated there was an old mobile phone that he had left behind on holiday and initially denied any other devices.

"Then he stated there was an iPhone in the wardrobe in the bedroom.

"It was discovered there were 40 moving images of child exploitation and abuse consisting of Category A, B and C.

"They involved male and female children aged between one and 12-years-old.

"Some moving images had been deleted on February 16.

"The accused was arrested and cautioned and charged and later released on an undertaking to appear at this court at a later date."
