Moving forward in face of adversity

We all know what the Scottish Government is about, we have experienced it long enough - fairness, equity, improvement, progress and the betterment of society and services for all in Scotland.
It is all very well to have such aims but it is the delivery that counts.
That is something we have done and continue to do.
When looking at the bigger picture, it is surprising that the SNP have been able to deliver during such times.
When the SNP came to power in 2007, it was the year before the banking crash in 2008, where financial systems were collapsing around the globe.
Not the best way to launch a new government with ambitious plans but we pushed against the storm.
Then we had covid to deal with which brought out the best in many across the nation through the toughest of environments and financial pressures.
Between and during these periods we must remember that the Tories were pushing austerity down our throats and cutting services that the most vulnerable depend on to get by.
