More wage rises for Glasgow Airport staff

More workers at Glasgow Airport have secured a significant pay rise.

ICTS staff, who screen hold baggage for airlines at the Paisley transporthub, have been offered a 9.8 per cent uplift in wages.
It means the hourly rate for screeners will increase by £1.28 to £14.33, with double time being secured on Christmas or New Year's Day.
A one-off bonus of £500 will also be paid to all ICTS workers which increases the worth of the overall pay package to 11.6 percent.
The wage increase will be backdated to October 2024.
