Proposed changes to sick pay and overtime are put on hold
Unison Mark Ferguson
Staff at Kibble Education and Care Centre have secured a 7.5 per cent uplift in wages while proposed changes to sick pay and overtime remain on hold.
The two-year pay deal mirrors that offered to local government workers who received a four per cent increase in pay for this financial year and will get a further 3.5 per cent in 2026/27.
Kibble says the agreement underpins its “continued investment in its staff and its commitment to delivering exceptional care and education to children and young people across Scotland”.
In a statement issued this week, the national charity said the two-year deal aims to provide greater financial stability and reassurance for its staff amidst ongoing cost-of-living pressures.
