Flats plan for Grammar site revealed by developer

Buddies were last night getting a first look at initial plans for the future of Paisley Grammar School.
Locals were invited to attend a public consultation on proposals to convert the Glasgow Road school and playground into housing as the Express went to print.
Nixon who was last month named Renfrewshire Council's preferred bidder for the site - was to reveal six proposed blocks of 120 flats.
The largest block would see the main B-listed school building converted into apartments, while two additional blocks, in a similar red brick, are proposed for either side of the building.
Three further blocks are suggested to be built within the current school grounds, with a proportion to be handed over to Sanctuary Scotland for social rent
All apartment blocks are proposed to be five stories high.
