Ferguslie Cricket Club travelled to Dumfries for their latest league match against the local team, and once again, the journey didn’t seem to affect them as they rattled up another enormous score.
Openers Stafford and Mayet got the team off to a flying start, but, after hitting one huge six, the former was out with the score on 28 in only the fourth over.
Mayet continued the onslaught with five 4s in one over shortly after and, even when Preston-Jones was out, the runs continued to flow.
Mayet was eventually out for 69 but this only preceded the coming together of the Ahmad brothers, who put on 115 in only 17 overs to take the game away from the home side.
