Drunk yob breached order by turning up at ex-wife's property

A Paisley man has been ordered to wear a tag after breaching conditions of a non-harassment order.

John Strathearn was found to have breached conditions of a non-harassment order on March 28 when he approached and contacted his estranged wife.

The father-of-five also caused “fear or alarm” on the same day by acting aggressively, shouting, swearing and making threats to harm himself.

Strathearn, of Ferguslie Walk, then called the cops and admitted to breaching his order and waited nearby to be arrested.

Paisley Sheriff Court heard the 37-year-old was made subject to a non-harassment order in March last year.

The procurator fiscal depute told the town’s court: “Around 4am on Friday, March 28, the accused attended the home address of his former wife and was intoxicated at this time.
