TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of former Lostprophets front man Ian Watkins at HMP Wakefield.

The paedophile rock star was serving a 29-year sentence for child sex offences. He was attacked with a knife on Saturday morning, sources have confirmed.

Emergency services were sent to the prison in West Yorkshire, but Watkins was pronounced dead at the scene. Two men, aged 25 and 43, have been arrested and are in police custody, police have said. The prison went into lockdown in the immediate aftermath of the incident, sources have added.
