Stephen Robinson reckons David Gray was the best in the business last season after turning round rock-bottom Hibernian.
The St Mirren gaffer was so impressed with the 37-year-old’s work at Easter Road he voted for him to be manager of the year.
Gray led the Hibees into the Europa League qualifiers following a third-placed finish.
But things looked bleak for Hibs last autumn when they propped up the rest of the Premiership.
Saints won 2-1 at Easter Road last November thanks to Conor McMenamin's double as they piled on the misery.
Robbo takes his troops back to Leith on Sunday for the first time since that game with the Northern Irishman full of praise for his opposite number in the dugout.
