CAMBUSLANG...66 BIRKMYRE....25
Birkmyre picked up a losing bonus point on Saturday despite a heavy defeat away to Cambuslang.
Trailing 38-10 at the interval, the Bears ran in three scores in the second period to add to their first-half try in their latest West League Two outing.
Birkmyre got off to a positive start and won a penalty in front of the post 40 metres out after just four minutes.
Archie Thomson stepped up to slot the ball over for three points.
However, it then went all downhill for the Kilmacolm side as they shipped three tries in the space of 12 minutes to find themselves trailing 17-3, with poor tackling being a contributing factor.
Cambuslang extended their lead still further with a converted try 10 minutes later in monsoon conditions.
