The by-election in Barrhead, Liboside and Uplawmoor will be held on Thursday, August 21.

East Renfrewshire Council issued formal notice of the election yesterday.
It comes following the tragic death of Labour stalwart Betty Cunningham OBE.
More than 15,000 residents will be eligible to cast their vote in the election, with the polls opening at 7am and closing at 10pm.
