Shauna Eburne brought the Class B drug into Glasgow Airport on February 25, after flying from Toronto, Canada.

The 54-year-old “abandoned” her suitcase at the Caledonia Way airport and got in a taxi to Glasgow city centre before returning to report her luggage as lost to airport staff.

Procurator fiscal depute Michael Cunningham told Paisley Sheriff Court Eburne landed at Glasgow Airport on Tuesday, February 25, after a flight from Toronto via Iceland when her “abandoned suitcase” caused airport staff concern.

Mr Cunningham explained: “Around 2pm, Border Force officers on duty were carrying out routine checks on people and their luggage as they entered customs when they noted a suitcase which appeared to have been abandoned bearing a baggage label in the name of Eburne and referring to the Iceland flight which had recently landed.

“The suitcase was x-rayed which revealed an abnormality within the luggage
