AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a retired midwife described as a “wonderful neighbour” and a “lovely lady”.
Eluned Austin, who lived at Stocks Hall Nursing Home in Mawdesley
Eluned Austin, who lived at Stocks Hall Nursing Home in Mawdesley and who previously lived in Swansea, died at Chorley and South Ribble Hospital on November 29 last year.
An inquest was opened after concerns were raised about the 93-year-old’s care prior to her death.
