The Odisha government has secured investment commitments worth ₹1 lakh crore during a two-day investors' meet and roadshow in Kolkata.

The state signed 27 MoUs worth ₹81,864 crore and received 19 investment intents valued at ₹ 18,453 crore, together expected to generate around 90,000 jobs once implemented. Highlighting Odisha's shift towards value-added manufacturing, its financial stability, and port-led industrialisation, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi stressed that execution, not agreements alone, would define success.
Bhubaneswar, Jan 17: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Saturday said that Odisha has secured investment commitments worth nearly ₹1 lakh crore and employment potential of about 90,000 jobs following the Odisha Investors' Meet & Roadshow in Kolkata, marking a significant step towards the state's Vision 2036 and India's Vision 2047.
