Sexagenarian dies by self-immolation

In a shocking incident, a 62-year-old man died by self-immolation due to alleged mental distress at Badiaosta village under Dayanidhipur panchyat in Sanakhemundi block of Ganjam district Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Pitabas Agarya, a village priest. Patapur police recovered a suicide note from his residence reportedly addressed to his son. The suicide note says: “I no longer wish to live. No one is responsible for my death. Please take good care of your mother.”
